My latest book has just come back from printing and is ready to ship. Some of you may have already ordered and that is appreciated. For those who have yet to order I would appreciate it if you would consider ordering the book. It was 2 years in the writing and deals with many issues of today including the calls for racial dialog following the Rev. Wright debacle. Dialog is desperately needed but dialog requires that both sides be heard and not simply a diatribe in which one side dominates, intimidates and demands. I'd like to hear from you after you read the book.

It is difficult to get the word out about a new site and the site takes a great deal of work. In today's world it is easy to be a hit if you're willing to use toilet humor to excess. I have no interest in going there. If we can get support from those who enjoy our look at the world I'm prepared to keep this site humming. If it is true, as some have told me that only the outrageous and profane will generate enough support on the internet then I will, reluctantly, shut down the site.
If you value the commentaries please visit daily and make the counter ring. Spread the word at school, church, work and play. I enjoy talking about the complex world we live in but I'll be guided by your response. Thanks for taking time to read this memo.
